Tambako's Guestbooks is a free service of guestbooks, that you can add on your site, to get feedback from your visitors.

The guestbook service has many advantages in comparaison with the other guestbooks you can find on the Internet, such as an absence of advertisements and many configuration options.
One of the reason to chose Tambako's Guestbooks is that it exists in many languages (you can select the preferred language of your own guestbook), the list getting bigger and bigger. This is possible thanks to the efforts of people who translated it. By the way, if you don't find your language, you can translate it! If you are interested, please send an e-mail telling what language you want to translate the guestbook in.

Tambako's Guestbooks can figure on every site, however, it won't be accepted for sites of sensitive nature such as sex, violence and drugs. Needless to say that all the information entered in the order form will be kept strictly confidential within Tambako's Guestbooks.
Shortly after ordering, you will get an e-mail at the address you specified. It contais precious information about your guestbook, so please keep this message! Your guestbook will be activated typically within 24 hours. The data you entered needs to be verified prior activation.

Other useful functionality : when someone adds an entry to your guestbook, an e-mail will automatically be sent to you, with the text of the entry. So, you don't need to go every day on your guestbook to see if someone posted!

To make your new guestbook figure in your site, the best way is to integrate into a frame of the frameset of your site. That means that the actual page of your guestbook remains on the server of tambako.ch, but since it is in a frame, this won't directly be visible on your page. You can also, of course, change the parameters of your guestbook whenever you want. Logon with the Guestbook's identificator and with the password you entered while ordering, and then you can set the design of your guestbook in no time, or remove some entries you don't like.
